Coogan is a town treasure for keeping this blog alive, and I’m not sure if it’s because no one else goes to this website anymore or perhaps word-of-mouth has made an unforeseen comeback as the heavyweight champ of how shit gets around, but I guess folks find this wonderful place obsolete. Why do I feel like I’m the only person who checks this site for the lowdown shit about what’s going on around town? Am I alone, oh brothers and sisters of the ‘ville? Please tell me I’m wrong. Ya know, and stuff.

YOU’RE a town treasure patrick. a goddam hometown hero.

i prefer a ‘field of dreams’ mentality, you know? nice and simple and agrarian in scope.

but in actuality i’ve implanted web analytic code so i know that there are a many handful of people who come here daily. i think since no wave broke in the eighties, hip scenes are more about voyeurism than emotional engagement. that’s cool tho.
