I’m so excited about this show I came back to Nailgun to tell you about it, also because we have no other writers left (more on that soon)

Every time (about once every year or two) that someone asks me to book a show for a former Pudhaus / Tokyo Rose / WTJU person, I always say “yes,” even though I’m not really a concert booker and even if it’s someone I’ve never met before or can’t remember, and it always turns out to be a really good and fun show. Tyler and Elle asked me if I would do this one and the answer was “duh.”

Tonight’s concert: Suicide Magnets is ex-local Wendy Hyatt along with Chris from Necronomitron. Carry is Tyler Magill from Grand Banks / Mss. / WTJU / Low Records playing solo. Great Dads is Adam Smith putting together another impromptu psych ensemble (like their set at Magnolia last week, which was awesome); I think biological dad Steve Snider might be sitting this one out again, but the line-up will include various step-dads, and Tyler will probably be one of them.

Starts at 9pm, it costs $3 for those under 21 and $5 for those of-age because we thought it would be amusing to do that. See you tonight!
