Invisible Hand and more at the Tea Bazaar, Garage Show

There’s a big rock show at the Tea House tonight, featuring Charlottesville favorites Invisible Hand and a couple of the more exciting groups coming out of North Carolina these days, Naked Gods and Bronzed Chorus.

If I have to explain Invisible Hand to you, I’m shocked you’re here. For the rest of you, I’ll dangle the fact that Invisible Hand may have a trick up their sleeve this evening that is, unto itself, worth the price of admission.

There’s also a good chance, if you frequent Nailgun, that you’ve heard of Boone, NC’s Naked Gods, who are sometimes tour-mates and good pals of Invisible Hand’s, which should lend them a good deal of credibility on it’s own. I’ll go one further to say that this is one of the most exciting, energizing, original rock and roll bands around and they put on one hell of a live show.

Lastly (or firstly in the order of the bill), Bronzed Chorus are from Greensboro, NC, and whatever’s in the water down there is potent. Lots of good stuff coming out of there these days, and Bronzed Chorus are the latest to debut in C-ville — a tight, fast, rhythmic, instrumental duo. These guys definitely impressed when I saw them in Durham a few weeks ago, but their show last night in Harrisonburg really seemed to take it to another level and blow everybody away. Highly recommended, so show up early!

‘Doors’ at 8:30, whatever that means, music at 9:15PM, cover is $7.

Ack, I just realized that in my haste to get this post up, I neglected to mention the show at the Garage (Little Anchor and Michael Coleman) beyond in the subject line. My bad folks! Hope it was a good show!
