…and by next saturday it will be march

I haven’t written in a long time because the past few months of my life were pretty much at capacity. The Great Gifts shop at The Bridge was no small task but everything concluded this week and, alas, I have my life back! When Great Gifts came down, Anthony Restivo took up what seems to be a monastic-style residence in the gallery; I don’t think he has spoken all month. During daylight hours, a gallery visitor has had the opportunity to sit with Anthony for a few minutes to experience what proves to be a provocative exchange. And who, pray tell, is not interested in provocative exchanges…especially when they involve a hardlined stare, a lock of hair, a question, and an answer? It is my understanding you have until sunset this evening to experience this and I encourage you to make a trip to The Bridge before your chance has passed. I then encourage you to make a return trip to The Bridge tonight at 10pm for a DANCE PARTY. Because this show is culminating in what will likely be a series of provocative exchanges for many.

Also, tonight, THE CINNAMON BAND will play at the Tea House. They are a THREE PIECE NOW…I think. My friend Bladen updated his facebook status to say he was playing with the band in Staunton the other night so I think that’s what that means. Whatever, facebook is dumb. I guess you’ll have to check out the show to find out. Nashville band Tristen opens. Things start around 8:30 and it shouldn’t cost more than $5.

Tea House show starts around 9:30PM and it’s actually $7. And only I know what the order of the bands is going to be, so show up on time to see both bands!
