(Jeanne Liotta at The Bridge tonight)

In addition to the Tea House show that John wrote about below, the Film Series that I run is also having a screening tonight.  In collaboration with the Virginia Film Society, we’ve brought film-maker and historian Jeanne Liotta to Charlottesville.  She’s showing a curated selection of films, some weird found artifacts, and her own films, under the title: Thursday Evening in the Universe: Hymns to the void, the stars in their courses, the earth under your feet wobbles and drifts. If that doesn’t sound awesome enough already, I can also tell you that she’ll be doing a two-projector performance piece with a soundtrack by Sun City Girls.

It’s at 8pm, which means it will be over before the Tea House show starts, which means you can see them both.  $5 cover, or free for Virginia Film Society members.  It’s at The Bridge. Don’t miss it!
