Tonight Michael Hurley and Keith Morris will be at the Tea Bazaar.

Hurley has been making songs since the ’60s, when his first record, 1965’s First Songs, came out on Folkways. His most recent album, Ancestral Swamp, came out on Devendra Banhart’s Gnomosong label last September. He also collaborated with the Unholy Modal Rounders and Jeffrey Frederick & The Clamtones in 1976 for the legendary Have Moicy. This is rare chance to see the longtime folk singer, so don’t miss out.

Keith Morris recently released Songs from Candyapolis  and his band tonight will feature a good helping of local talent: Budd Bryant (Hogwaller Ramblers) Brandon Collins (BC); Brennan Gilmore (Walker’s Run); Jeff Romano (Nickletown, Greenwood Studios); Nathan West on drums and Jennifer Morris & Emily Proutt on vocals.

Should be a fun night!
