Craft Fair this afternoon at The Bridge / music tonight at the Tea House

The Craft Fair is already underway! Stop by The Bridge this afternoon for the finest shirts, bags, records, prints, paintings, and knicknacks from some of the coolest artists in Central VA.

There will also be music at the Fair, provided by the Rock DJs from WTJU, including Colin Powell, Lady D, Helvidius, Vic Szabo, and myself (I’ll be onĀ  2:30 to 3:45-ish). I’ll also be selling some old posters, at $5 each… I’ll be set up as soon as I can get over there (just woke up…)

Later tonight you should head over to the Tea Bazaar to hear the Hilarious Posters, Cville’s finest purveyors of jangly indie-pop, along with fellow locals Left and Right and a band from NYC called MiniBoone.

I’ll be covering this show for Jacob while he’s up at Whartscape, so come by at 9:00pm, bring $5, and I’ll see you there!

    MiniBoone is pretty sick!

Also, if anyone is interested, I’m reporting in on Whartscape via Twitter, which you can see on the left panel if you don’t have the Twitter.

And a word to the wise: Don’t drink more than one Four Loco in a night. I’m not hungover, but my spidey senses are going wild.

Tonight at the Garage, 8:00-10:00PM, Peter Markush of the Falsies opens for The Debutante Hour, a three-piece Brooklyn-based female cabaret-pop trio. We highly recommend this one.
