Tapeworms/Statehood + Surround Sound

February 16th, 2008 · 1 Comment · By

Tonight Tapeworms are playing at the Tea Bazaar, along with Statehood. Tapeworms are an excellent new local band, with former members of Cataract Camp and The Fingerpainters. Statehood are from DC and I’m told their rhythm section is made up of members of The Dismemberment Plan. Starts 10ish, cover is $5 or less.

Also, at Satellite Ballroom: C-Fest.org, C-Ville Weekly, and 106.1 FM present “Surround Sound,” with Graboids, Greg Howard, Pink Communoids, Melamine, Judith Shatin, Accordion Death Squad, Thrum, Matthew Willner, and John D’earth. It should be a pretty interesting mix… doors at 7, cover is $10.

There are plenty of other local bands playing tonight as well (including Casa De Chihuahua at Mono Loco); check the calendar on your right for details.
