Garage Show Tonight!

There’s an excellent show at The Garage tonight featuring three great solo performers: David Dondero, Lux Perpetua, and Erik Petersen. David Dondero is a nationally known songwriter based out of San Franscisco, and a member of Connor Oberst’s label Team Love. This is very cool act to drop in on the teeny-tiny Garage. In fact, last time I caught Dondero play was at Satellite Ballroom on tour with Tilly & The Wall. So it should be a nice, cozy, intimate show!

Also appearing is C-ville native songwriter Justin Wolf (aka Lux Perpetua). Justin is reprising an excellent set at the Tea Bazaar opening for Invisible Hand a week and a half ago. As I mentioned in my post about that show, Justin is one of my favorite songwriters ever and it’s always a pleasure to hear him play, which he doesn’t do nearly often enough! So we’re lucky to get a double dose.

Lastly, there’s Erik Petersen (aka Mischief Brew), a Philadelphian on tour with David Dondero. Petersen’s tunes sound like punked out Irish drinking songs, so it should be interesting to hear him belt them out acoustic-style.

8PM. $5 suggested donation.
