T. Dean at the Bistro

Radio Bistro took a week off last week, since the C&O was closed for the 4th, but we’re back on again tonight; this particular evening’s DJ will be Thomas Dean, whom you may know from playing in half of the bands in Virginia (Invisible Hand, Order of the Dying Orchid, Donny Hue and the Colors, Matt Leech’s new band, etc etc etc), as well as the fact that he’s done dozens of cool album covers and probably screenprinted something on at least one garment that you own (seriously, the dude is turning into the Steve Keene of T-Shirts.) Tonight is his Bistro debut, but you’re probably familiar with his DJ skills from his numerous appearances with my Bistro co-organizer Adam Smith as Adam and Thomas Play Records (sometimes also billed as “Lunatic and the Rascal,” though I never could work out which was which — you could make an argument for either case).

Anyhow, he’ll be playing vinyl records in the C&O from 10pm to 2am tonight, so come have a drink!
