Tonight is the opening reception of Fuzz at The Bridge. It runs from 6 to 10pm and will feature works by Erin Womack, Travis Robertson, Thomas Dean, Alvaro Ilizarbe, Jen Stark, Kevin Hooyman, Victoria Long, Patrick Costello, Ruth Young, Jason Kachadourian, Andy Jenkins, Jesse Wells, Kristin Smith, Meg Frisbie, Harvey Fuell, and more.

GULL, which is Nate from the Ultra Dolphins, will most likely play around 7:30. There will also be cupcakes and a table of zines, crafts and more.

And after that Worn in Red, Fingerpainters, Punch You In The Face, Big! and Fred Gable will be playing at Outback Lodge. I talked a little with Brad of WIR in my C-VILLE column. The show will be a benefit for Jailbreak, the band’s van, which broke down on the last leg of their southern tour.

Also, Oakley Hall (featuring Pat Sullivan, who used to be in Oneida), Sarah White & The Pearls and The Misery Brothers (featuring Mike Bishop, once the bassist for GWAR) will be at Satellite Ballroom. I talked with Oakley Hall for my column also, and their new album, I’ll Follow you, is great.
